About Connect English Language Resources

Connect English Language Resources Pty. Ltd. was established in 2016 in response to a need for high-quality assessment tools mapped to units of competency from the EAL Framework. From small beginnings, our business has grown to become an industry leader with a wide range of TAFEs and community-based RTOs using our resources across Australia.

We are driven by our vision for migrants and refugees to lead fulfilling lives in Australia through engaging, empowering and effective EAL programs.

Our mission is to design valid, relevant and easy-to-use assessment tools that promote the smooth delivery of training and assessment for RTOs and their students.

Connect is led by Stephen Pollard. Stephen is an experienced teacher and coordinator of accredited EAL courses.  He is passionate about assisting migrants and refugees to participate and thrive in the Australian community. Prior to moving into education, Stephen began his career as a social worker, helping settle refugees and developing an orientation program delivered across Victoria.
