FAQ

You asked, we answered. Find all the answers to your questions below. If you have any more questions, contact us! We’d love to hear from you!

  1. What’s included in your assessment tools?

You can find all information about our assessment tools and what is included by clicking here.  To request a free sample, click here.

  1. How much do your assessment tools cost?

Our packs are not only cheaper than other resource developers, they’re even cheaper than if you develop the tasks yourself! Prices are based on the size of your organisation (small, medium, large) and the number of units you require.

  1. Does our RTO own the assessment tools?

Resources are licensed to RTOs according to the terms and conditions stated within our Licence Agreement. This is required to be signed by both parties before receipt of any materials. We’re more than happy to send you the Licence Agreement for review, just ask!

  1. Are the assessment tools able to be contextualised?

Yes. Tasks are provided in Microsoft Word format. You can adapt/contextualise the tasks and resources according to your needs within the terms of the Licence Agreement. All assessment tools are designed to easily add your RTO logo and essential information on front pages, headers and footers. All we ask is that the Connect logo and Intellectual Property disclaimer be kept.  Any assistance required with formatting issues associated with Microsoft Word will be charged at an hourly rate.

  1. What if tasks don’t meet verification by an auditor/verifier?

We are confident of the validity of our assessment tasks. All tasks are provided with a thorough mapping against ACSF criteria and unit requirements. Of course, due to the ambiguity of ACSF and unit requirements, coupled with the subjective nature of the verification and auditing process, it is always possible that a government appointment verifier or auditor may have a different interpretation of the requirements. If Linda Wyse and Associates or a government-appointed auditor (VRQA, ASQA) request alterations to any task, Connect will update the task free of charge.

  1. Do you have resources for courses other than EAL Frameworks?

We specialise solely in EAL training and assessment resources. This means that we have a thorough understanding of EAL curriculum, EAL training and its students. Our resources are designed to not only assess competencies, but also to support learning!

Let us know if there is an EAL curriculum that you would like training or assessment resources developed for. We’d love to hear about your needs!
